Yeah for sure, that is really a honor for me. I'm going to answer your questions, as good as I can.
I started fingerboarding in 1999. I've seen it on a TV commercial for a child/youth magazine. So I bought the magazine with the little plastic board in it and also some trick tips for an ollie and the kickflip. That made me keep on riding.
This year is amazing so far. Everything seems still to grow. The BATH 3 was a great start for this year, with an amazing atmosphere and a looooot of people. This was really crazy to meet new people from russia or even indonesia, I didn't know before. Fast Fingers was also the best atmosphere so far. More people are coming and enjoy the scene. Also there were more guys from france I guess…
I guess, that the french scene is pretty young, but has a lot of interesting and enthusiastic people. The people I've seen loved fingerboarding with all there heart, made ramps, events, graphics and a whole bunch of creative stuff. Before I just knew about Julien and Joaquin, but now I've seen the other guys, that are supporting the scene all day long. They're great and I want to thank everybody I've met for the experience.
I think, that in the future the french scene will grow, as there are these people keeping the scene alive and spread their love to france and the world. Keep on guys! (you know who you are)
There is not so much planned yet, but I guess, that the big contests will be there as every year. And the rest …. we'll see. But you should always keep your eyes wide open.
For sure, thank you very much for the interview.
